St Cuthbert's Cave

Mother Superior

Taking inspiration from the reputed final resting place of the renowned monk of Lindisfarne, St Cuthbert’s Cave is an outcrop of Sandstone Rock, supported by an isolated pillar of Stone which held his body for a short period in AD875 following Viking raids in the region.

St Cuthbert’s Cave can be found on the third floor at The Cookie Jar, a large and luxurious room that has views over the courtyard. It features a Super King Size bed for a restful sleep and a spacious four-piece bathroom suite with a heavenly bath tub for the perfect soak.
